Water Park - LEGOLAND Malaysia

Before this, I have shared about Theme Park, I hope you read it and agreed with my opinion. For make you trust what I said, so now I share about Water Park.

Water Park make all of you need to be ready to slide, splash and build your way to aqua-tastic fun at the Water Park. Hit the surf at the LEGO wave pool, float along the Build-A-Raft lazy river, climb and slide down the most awesome tube slides and body slides. 

Brick Blaster & Splash 'N' Swirl

Have a blast with 2 or 3 friends on a tube that swing, sways and slides down terrific tunnels of splashing water. It’s a guaranteed scream-tastic time for everyone.All the best splashes and swirls happen here. Simply grab a tube. Share with friends. Spin your way down and scream your lungs out.

It is very impressive. The game is very challenging but fun. I suggest do it with your partner. Same like me, all game I do with my husband because I do not dare to do it all alone.

Slide racing on a mat is cool but slide racing with 5 other friends at the same time is way cooler. The greatest thrills begin when shared with the whole family.

However I do not do this because I am nervous and not sure that I can do it.

It's very easy, because visitors don't have to lift it floats up to the top. They use a machine to carry the floats to the top. Therefore, it makes it easier for us to play.

Twin Chasers

We’ve doubled the fun with twin side-by-side red tubes that send you soaring and sliding down 130 feet of splash-tacular thrills and end in a relaxing wading area to catch your breath.

The following swimwear is not permitted: cotton t-shirts, exposed zippers, wet suits, water shoes, or any lose articles that may get damaged during the ride, such as hats or sunglasses.

It's more extreme because we this float is small then others. So, we need more careful during play it. Besides, we should more confident if we want to play it because the place is more challenges.

Final Thoughts: The Legoland Malaysia Water Park is a lot of fun. However, the thing you have to understand about Legoland Malaysia as a whole is aimed at children and young kids.

If you’re anywhere near Malaysia, I highly recommend paying a visit to Legoland Malaysia.

Theme Park - LEGOLAND Malaysia

The Legoland Malaysia theme park opening on 2012 at Nusajaya, Johor. I’ve been in love with the idea of a LEGO themed amusement park. It is because, it something new for this city. It just like an attraction for the travelers have a cause to have a vacation here.

NICE place. That what we can said about Legoland. Something new not just like other theme park that have in Malaysia. Like all Legolands in the world, the first thing that greets you is the iconic Legoland Arch that is designed to look like it was built using oversized LEGO bricks. The arch sets the tone and your expectations from the moment you set your eyes on it. It makes such a strong statement right at the beginning – that this is no ordinary theme park. Many games available in this theme park. However, some place are still in construction. So we can’t explore all that place.

The Legoland Malaysia theme park is partitioned into several themed sections, some of which are based on classic and familiar LEGO themes.

You have several options for entry into Legoland Malaysia. To be honest, the number of different packages and options is quite confusing, so it’s best to just head to the Legoland Malaysia website for more information on Ticket Prices.

There are two types of AnnualPasses :
  ·         A Regular Annual Pass which costs RM275 for adults and RM210 for children aged 3-11 & seniors gives you unlimited access to the theme park for one year and other small perks such as cheaper Water Park tickets & discounted hotel rates
·         A Premium Annual Pass which costs RM 395 for a year and gives you unlimited entry to both the theme park and water park, as well as discounts on LEGO retail merchandise as well as food and beverage. The discount to retail merchandise like souvenirs and sets are pretty good but it’s only a 10% discount. Unless you live in the same state, or travel to Johor quite often, it’s quite a pricey investment.

Get ready to start the fun! The Beginning is the start of everything awesome. Here is where you get entry tickets and annual passes. Guest Services with our friendly Model Citizens (LEGOLAND® employees) are happy to answer any enquiry or provide assistance upon request.

The Beginning, as its name suggests is your gateway and introduction to Legoland. The aforementioned Legoland Malaysia arch is found here, as is the Café, Big Shop, Pick a Brick shop and another smaller retail outlet.

Speedsters, get ready for awesome action-packed rides. Budding scientists, get set for fascinating LEGO® workshops.

Technic has predominantly been skewed towards older and more mature LEGO fans and the Technic section of the park is similarly aimed at older kids or adults. The thing about Legoland is that it is a theme park primarily aimed at kids. That said, the Technic part of the park has slightly more adult and exhilarating rides. The highlighted of courses is the Project X roller coaster. You sit in a Technic-inspired cart and hurtle around a decently sized roller coaster. Between games in LEGO Technic are Cool Hut, Lego Academy, Lego Mindstorms and Project X roller coaster.

LEGO Kingdoms

Be King for the day as you cross the drawbridge and enter a magnificent castle to explore the legendary folklore of fearsome dragons and fearless knights.

Moving up North, you enter LEGO Kingdoms, the medieval themed area of the park that’s all about knights, swords, castles and dragons! It’s wonderfully decorated with all sorts of little Castle-esque details. From the moment you pass the LEGO Kingdoms sign, you’re instantly transported into medieval LEGO times. Such as, Merlin’s Challenge , Royal Joust, The Dragon and Castle Stage.

Imagination

It’s movies, mayhem and music galore with DUPLO® inspired play zones for little heroes plus plenty of building, racing and sky-rising activities for big heroes alike.

Imagination is quite a bizarre section of Legoland. It’s colourful, random and whimsical, much like the creations that happen when a kid is given a bunch of multicoloured LEGO bricks to play with. There are a few places that makes the public likes this place such as Build and Test, DUPLO Express, DUPLO Playtown and Observation Tower.

Land of Adventure

Journey into the forgotten worlds of Pharoahs and dinosaurs. But watch out! You never know what lies ahead!

Legoland Malaysia’s Land Of Adventure is the stomping ground of famed LEGO Adventurer Johnny Thunder whose exploits span expeditions to the Desert, the Jungle, Dino Island and even the Orient. The Land of Adventure is split into two distinct zones based on LEGO sets that Johnny Thunder has starred in – Egypt (Desert) and Dino Island. Among the park of Johnny Thunder, Lost Kingdom Adventure, Pharaoh's Revenge and Beetle Bounce.

Everyone can be a pilot as kids climb into colorful airplanes and be in control of how high or low they can fly in the skies. Seat belts on and have a safe flight.

The final themed zone is LEGO City, a massive area with all sorts of urban rides and attractions. Unlike other sections of the park, the attractions in LEGO City are mostly meant for younger kids. Most of the activities here require a lot of physical activity and interaction, rather than just strapping yourself into a ride. Such as , Lego City Stage, Junior Driving School, Boating School and Rescue Academy.

Miniland

At the heart of every LEGOLAND® is the much-loved true-to-life miniature version of Asia’s iconic landmarks around the world. MINILAND dazzles in every way as a magnificent masterpiece built with over 30 million LEGO® bricks that showcase famous scenes from 17 Asian countries such as the Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur , Singapore’s Merlion, India’s Taj Mahal and even Johor’s own unique landmarks. Many of the icons and scenes are animated at the touch of a button, so visitors of all ages can enjoy the sights, sounds and splendour of every work of art.

As an adult LEGO fan, I have to say that I absolutely loved the crap out of Miniland. I could spend hours at Miniland checking out the intricate structures and models and still not get enough of it.

The Miniland in Malaysia has a distinct Asian flavour, to pay homage and highlight the outstanding architecture and landmarks from this part of the world. Located right in the middle of Legoland Malaysia, Miniland is truly a monument and testament to the amazingly cool stuff that can be imagined and created out of LEGO blocks. It’s essentially the heart and soul of all that LEGO stands for – building cool stuff.

The Legoland Malaysia Miniland is unique in that it celebrates the wonderful diversity and rich flavour of popular Asian destinations such as India, China and South East Asian countries such as Laos, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Singapore and of course Malaysia.

There are many special place that they built in the miniland. Such as, Angkor Wat – Cambodia, Bolinao - Philippines, Brunei, Hoi An – Vietnam, Johor Bahru, KLIA, Port Tanjung Pelepas and others.

Final Thoughts: The Legoland Malaysia theme park is a lot of fun, but as an adult I really couldn’t get into most of the rides. The thing you have to understand about Legoland Malaysia as a whole is that it is a theme parked aimed at children and young kids. If you’re expecting massive roller coasters and cutting edge rides, you will be sorely disappointed.

If you’re anywhere near Malaysia, I highly recommend paying a visit to Legoland Malaysia.
