Assalammualaikum, hye everyone.
Today, I want to share about the advantages of washing hands. This is because, after I noticed, many people who not practice these things. Besides that, we as a people should inculcate the habit of adults to children. This is because most children are more vulnerable to dirt.
Here I shared that not many people realize the human hand is the body which becomes a breeding ground for all kinds of bacteria and capable of spreading the disease if one ignores many aspects of cleanliness. Suppose, we have to practice these things because we are always exposed to dirt. No matter where only. Therefore before taking food, we have to clean the hands first.
Time should be taken to wash the hand perfectly is 60 seconds if you wash your hands with soap and water while washing your hands with alcohol takes 20 seconds. Most think washing hands with flowing tap water alone is sufficient, but that notion is not true at all because the soap is required and friction when rubbing hands to remove bacteria present out of our hands.
Clean hands properly can control most of the diseases that can be spread through contact, even the practice is best for each individual vaccine. most Malaysians still lack awareness of their hands clean, even average between them assume their hands look clean as long as it is adequate.
According to the World Health Organization (World Health Organization, WHO), more than 1.5 million children under age 5 died from diarrheal diseases each year, which is the second leading cause of death of these children. Washing hands after going to the toilet, before eating and handling food - can reduce diarrhea rates among children by 40%. Pneumonia caused the death of 1.8 million children each year, and is the main cause of their death. Attitude always wash your hands - can reduce respiratory infections at a rate of 23%.
In addition, hand washing - a parameter for controlling infectious diseases related to respiratory system. During the SARS outbreak in 2006, a study was conducted and found that washing hands 10 times a day can reduce the spread of the respiratory virus by 55%. What should you do if you don’t have soap and clean, running water?
Washing hands with soap and water is the best way to reduce the number of germs on them in most situations. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. Alcohol-based hand sanitizers can quickly reduce the number of germs on hands in some situations, but sanitizers do not eliminate all types of germs and might not remove harmful chemicals.
Hand sanitizers are not as effective when hands are visibly dirty or greasy.
How do you use hand sanitizers?
1. Apply the product
to the palm of one hand (read the label to learn the correct amount).
2. Rub your hands
together.
3. Rub the product
over all surfaces of your hands and fingers until your hands are dry.
